I really enjoyed it. Definitely kept my attention the whole time.
If I had to pick apart anything I'd say the weakest graphic would be the rit dye packaging folding up at :33-:35 but I thought everything else was very strong and appealing.

So I'm guessing that means no major releases. You may have to hold out a while longer for your multi-media 'Pod yet!
..But you never know with Apple - damn them, damn them all!A multimedia iPod would have a the very least a big press conference. And we usually find out about those a week or two in advance. Since there is no keynote in Paris this year, I'd say no video iPod just yet.

You might try turning off passive mode...I've had it make some problems for me when I was behind a heavy school firewall and some packet shapers...give it a shot.

Not sure the sarcastic comments and put downs were required, I thought I made it quite clear I didn't know what I was doing, hence asking for advice. To reiterate my question and perhaps make it more clear - I was hoping someone might know of a online resource or book which would give guidance on what type of font works well in certain circumstances. Such a thing might not exist as it's such a broad area and very specific to each illustration or logo, but in the interests of self improvement I thought I would ask.

If you have a couple of cases, why is this phone so scratched up in 2 weeks time? It looks like you put it in your pocket with keys and $3.00 in change?

Maybe, I've never gone to MacWorld even though I live in San Jose. Only hurdle for me would be taking a day off of work, although i've got plenty of vacation time. Not much of a drinker myself, and not too familiar with SF. Last time I went to meet-up with some people in SF, we ended up in a "massage" parlor. :eek::o:D

i know someone who just purchased a dual ghz box with 2 GB of ram. The extra .25 mhz isn't worth it becuase it is bottlenecked anyways by it's slow-assed system bus. The ram on the otherhand, is great for the after affects, FCP and photoshop work hes doing.

No. It's not related to any dislike between Apple and Oracle. I believe it was timed purposely to keep Java applications out of the new Mac App Store.
Good point, I hadn't linked the two things together. I wonder what their motives are? I wonder how they'll feel about MacRuby and MonoMac stuff that is submitted to the AppStore?
