i would put down like 100-150. becouse of the hastle / possibility of having to pay for it to be fixed.
Unless the magic cracked iphone screen fairy is going to come around and fix this one night while you sleep, I'm guessing the possibility of having to pay to get the screen repaired is quite high.

PowerBookMedic I wouldn't put on either list. I've had positive experiences with them and negative experiences. They seem to handle the little things fine, but when it comes to DVD drives, be careful.

The difference is the box and the price. The app itself is the exact same whether in the box or downloaded from the app store.
Save some $$$ and download it from the App store. I did and it's a great photo manager.

Interestingly, the tab shifting buttons they mention in this doesn't work in my Firefox 1.0. I have to use ctrl-page up/dn as opposed to cmd-pageup/dn.

how did you reinstall you jb packages?
i never tried just updating, i usually do a full restore, the last one i did i wiped everything of my phone and started fresh cus it was a little sluggish and slow, after that is been running nice and smooth
You reinstall JB packages through Cydia (one by one) or by using AptBackup or PkgBackup or some other app like these.
The update simply overwrites the files on your phone but still keeps everything intact like your music, photos, apps etc. The full restore will wipe out everything making you start from scratch.
I just did a full restore to 4.3.2 since mine was sluggish and slow. You can do either or but I always prefer doing a full restore since it clears everything out.

There can be a very long wait between alpha and being 'delivered to us', not to mention mobile substrate needs to be updated to work with iOS 4.3. If it's not the whiners asking when it will be available, it's people jumping to conclusions that it's 'just waiting to be delivered to us.'

Did someone see my post regarding the minor developers? This is worthy to note as the main ones are leaving the PPC realm, while literally 1000's of smaller and minor companies, such as wondershare and others are still making universal binaries for both intel and ppc - a win win if you ask me.

Especially people who need to work with people using Office 2007/2010 for Windows, or who happen to need Adobe CS5/5.5, Final Cut Studio 3 or Logic Pro 9 or a myriad of other Professional Applications just to get stuff done. Many people bring work home, and most of the key productivity software for Mac is now intel only. It doesn't matter about small developers as they don't control the blockbuster software, and most people need at least 1 Intel Mac as they are that much more up-to-date than PowerPC models.

I think there�s a reason :apple: didn�t notify the new iMac owners for 10.6.7 update, unlike in the new Macbook Pro
It�s because all 2011 iMac will be eligilbe for upgrade to Lion for free, or at least with discount, maybe $29 only via Mac App Store so they can directly check who eligible for one and who�s not. If you want to get the shiny retail box, it may cost $129.
That should be it .. so I wouldn�t worry too much about Lion, let�s hope I�m not wrong okay :D

I have one, and there's a few threads on this site already about them.
no boot support in OS X, but you can read and write to it if you install the Sil driver.
I use it as my windows boot drive in my mac pro, works great for that. You will have to put the BCD environment for windows on a regular SATA attached HD, but that's the only special configuration needed to get windows to boot from it in a mac pro.
